Vanessa Schindler, big winner of the 32nd edition of the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography

The 32nd edition of the Hyères International Festival of fashion and photography came to an end in awarding Vanessa Schindler, who received the Première Vision Grand Prize as well as the Public and City of Hyères award. The 29 year old Swiss with her both ultra-feminine and very technical women’s collection unanimously seduced the fashion jury chaired this year by Bertrand Guyon, style director of the Schiaparelli house.A special mention has been attributed to Maria Korkeila with her masculine collection with surprising tones. As for the Finnish Gesine Försterling, she won the Chloé prize with her outfit composed of overalls with a blue pin stripe blouse. The festival’s innovation this year comes from the all new Swarovski prize for fashion accessories. Marina Chedel won thanks to a jury chaired by the shoe designer Pierre Hardy. The Public prize has also been rewarded to the French Wendy Andreu. On the photography side, the jury’s grand prize, presided by the English photographer Tim Walker, has been won by Daragh Soden and the American Vintage prize alongside the Public and City of Hyères prize by Luis Alberto Rodriguez.Music Free of Right / Bandit & Nikit / 2017
