For the past few years, christopher kane attracts the spotlight but perhaps with more intensity this season since the repurchase of his label by the ppr group in january. on the front row françois-henri pinault and salma hayek attend the show of their new protégé and can closely appreciate the talent of the young scottish designer. it's a straight coat closed by an electric blue strap that opens the show. a wardrobe strewn with small details which make a difference. the designer takes hold of the camouflage print which he colours in throughout the show and he reinterprets it in a city and luxurious way, trimmed with fur for a bustier dress or a bomber jacket, pleated for a mini kilt. the wardrobe adorns a more couture feel, with dresses embroidered with roses and feathers and art nouveau patterns and takes a gothic direction with velvet dresses. music from fashion show
