Diesel Black Gold - Women's Autumn-Winter 2017/18 collection in Milan (with interview)

Creative Director: Andreas MelbostadSilhouette: long and slender with a return to the 90S. An urban attitude playing with construction and the use of braces which structure the silhouette and encircles the waist. The clothes transform like the biker blouson which becomes a shearling coat. The materials are borrowed from the masculine universe (Prince of Wales, striped woolens) The colour palette is wintery and is composed of browns and blacks. A young, energetic wardrobe with superposition’s and sexy slits for long skirts that unbutton. To note: the raw denim for a dungaree dress, or oversized trousers. The detachable collars or sleeves. The fluidity through the silk maxi dresses printed with geometric motifs. Interview with : This collection started with a silhouette, I wanted to do long for everything I love the idea of a long sweater dress and a long sweater skirt, and then layering things on top of it but in a more tactile way, so we have shearling suede, it’s a bit more of an earthy tone, tobacco, camel, brown, burgundy injection this season.I love this jeans tailored sartorial mix, so in the jeans over here you have a partly pinstriped tailored trouser and partly a pair of jeans in raw denim and its cut in a very slouchy, relaxed masculine attitude.Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
