N°21: Men's Show Spring/Summer 2019 (with inteview)

Artistic Director: Alessandro Dell’Acqua Collection: 30 silhouettes which evoke holiday through sunset prints, exotic black and white Toile de Jouy and PVC materials. Short shorts, straight leg trousers without darts, shirts with detailing (a plastic pocket, palm tree and cocktail motifs), fine, asymmetric knitwear, an overcoat in cracked, coloured vinyl or a light parka, all compose a summer wardrobe which is fresh, elegant and playful. A fashion which is stamped with some warm feeling and some touches of colour and sensuality. To note: shoes with large, zip or a buckle soles, the tote bag + the PVC pocket. Interview of Alessandro Dell'Acqua:Summer, the hot and the sexiness, for me it’s very important in this collection, there’s a super relaxed attitude, very nonchalant, but with the basic wardrobe but also super masculine with the jackets, the pants super masculine, there’s not in this moment any sportswear, but very formal with a super modern attitude, super nonchalant, it’s a little bit of a nineties-like mood. It’s an exotic toile de Juoy with the cocktails, ‘annanas’ (pineapples), but with surfers, this is, for me, the new summer toile de Juoy. This season I wanted sexiness, and the legs, a little bit nonchalant with the shirts, it’s very new for me.
